Rock Band

Bio

Autumn Hollow is an alt-country band that is based around song writing and the interaction of five musicians, working towards the betterment of the song.

In August of 2007 Brendan Murphy finished up his first full length CD called Jumped the Shark at Dirt Floor Records and decided that he was going to put together a backing band to support the CD. He found Todd Sampson (Drums, of Lorntell) and Noel Coakley (Pedal Steal / Banjo, of The Bowen St Band) on everyones favorite classified website. Scott Marucci (Bass, Millis Pride) was invited in to play bass. There were a couple of line up changes from there and Mike Burke (Guitar, for Patrick Dunn) was asked to join and fill out the final lineup.

What began as a supporting band for Brendan, slowly developed into something more. It is still based heavily on the songs that Brendan has written, but there was a development and interaction between the players that is what every band aspires for. It has grown into a band, where the whole is larger than the sum of the parts.

Autumn Hollow is currently expanding its reach outside of the Boston area with shows lined up in New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and western Mass. With plans to consistently develop and treat each market as a home market. Autumn Hollows business plan is to be playing music for many moons to come.
